European Growth Fuels Anystream® at IBC

Dulles, VA — September 11, 2008 — With a 140% year-over-year growth in the United Kingdom and Europe, digital media production and publishing leader Anystream announced an IBC line up for international content owners and service operators scaling broadband and mobile video offerings. New capabilities include modular options for rules-based media workflows and distribution and the industry debut of its next-generation video production solution. The Anystream platform will be on display at IBC, 12-16 September 2008 at Booth 1.B10 at the RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam.

As an encore to its gold-medal performance with NBC Universal in support of the 2008 Beijing Games, Anystream will showcase the media platform that served as the hub for on-demand operations for NBC - and more than 70 additional new clients in the last year - at IBC. Demonstrations include:

Olympics Workflow: Anystream orchestrated the scheduling, publishing, packaging and metadata preservation of 5,000 discrete titles for NBC Universal’s 16 web, television on demand and mobile syndication partners for the 2008 Beijing Games. Demonstrating a series of sophisticated workflows, IBC attendees can see how organizations with multi-platform, multi-partner distribution plans can use Anystream’s lights-out, scalable platform to quickly and automatically monetize their media assets for major news, entertainment and sports events.

Modular Business Workflow and Distribution Connectors: Content aggregators can customize their on-demand workflows with a la carte options to further automate the creation and distribution of content.  Based on rules for content rights, Anystream dynamically automates the production, packaging and publishing of video and metadata assets.  Responding to the need for fast and secure content delivery, Anystream’s distribution and delivery management component – including integration with delivery platform Signiant - allows customers to control what, when and how content packages are delivered to service operators and digital storefront partners.

Next-Gen Video Production Solution: With an eight plus year track record, Anystream’s media production solution has been put to the test by more than 700 customers including the BBC, Sky and VRT.  At IBC, Anystream will unveil the next-generation of its production capabilities including a backend architecture and workflows optimized for on-demand HD, SD, mobile and broadband video operations. Demonstrations include software-based standards conversion with partner Digital Vision, advanced audio and video output quality and a sneak peek at Anystream’s completely redesigned, Web 2.0 user interface.

“Our international growth over the past year signals that on-demand video phenomenon isn’t restricted to the United States. But as we’ve seen with our domestic clients, they are still looking for an efficient, reliable solution to monetize their media assets,” said Russell Zack, Anystream vice president of product management. “Anystream responds to this call with the only scalable infrastructure to help content owners and service operators produce, manage and monetize their media.”
